Department: Engineering Assistant

Shift Details: 1st Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Hourly Pay Range: Based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Engineering team
  • Research of project details through interaction with other departments and vendors
  • Categorize details of projects
  • Maintain organized notes of details and prepare reports where necessary to share data.
  • Maintain details of team and individual projects and accomplishments
  • Maintain option list for production units.
  • Prepare reports where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Have working, hands-on experience to understand mechanical parts and heavy equipment.
  • Possess strong collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills for use in a team environment.
  • Be willing to ask questions when a problem arises.
  • Able to stay on task for current project, but also ability to allow interruptions, as needed.
  • Be a trustworthy source of information – ability to distance from bias.
  • Detail oriented individual
  • Creativity to bring forth new ideas and innovations with a tendency towards finding solutions not obstacles.
  • Associate degree in relevant discipline with 2 years’ work experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • CAD software experience in industry (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred)
