Job Purpose:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity by improving the movement, storage, and transactions of Eagle Crusher inventory items, both purchased and manufactured. The person in this position will utilize existing tools and processes and combine them with new tools and processes to develop a best practice for inventory management. This position will be a hybrid flex position that will first learn all positions within the Shipping & Receiving Group and then branch to other groups and departments. This position is for a growth individual focused on continuous improvement for both the Company and themself.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Inventory integrity through cycle counts and inventory checks on a regular and as needed basis.
- Physically count inventory on the floor, on the shelf, in the box, or in yard as needed to fulfill cycle count responsibilities or inventory checks as required.
- Understand,calculate, and communicate inventory adjustments as needed to company stake holders in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Shipping & Receiving, Part Sales, and Accounting.
- Perform root cause investigations into inventory discrepancies, develop corrective action proposals, and see them through to implementation.
- Contribute to and continue development of cycle count program to fulfill Accounting and Supply Chain needs.
- Learn tasks and become competent back up for Logistics Administrator, Receiving Team Lead, and all Shipping Positions, up to and including Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to have a high level of attention to detail.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills, professional ethics, tact and courtesy dealing with people.
- Efficient organization and time-management skills required.
- Ability to deal with changing demands, change in work requirements and ability to adapt to changing priorities on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ability to operate forklift and jib crane.
- Ability to work at a stationary desk and computer for 8-10 hours.
