Duties and responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabricating machinery to produce parts of various dimensions.
• Loads and unloads material into drill presses, saw or other fabricating equipment carefully and with attention to detail.
• Check parts for size and other conditions to meet quality specifications.
• Detect and report defective material, operating difficulties and questionable conditions to supervisor.  
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.  
• Performs any related duties as required or assigned.

This candidate would Assemble machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.

Duties and responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Assist with all aspects of building the equipment. Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications. 
• Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun.
• Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
• Perform quality tests to insure the product meets quality standards and complete inspection sheets.
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Operate overhead crane and/or forklift as needed.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.  
• May assist in other areas of the plant as needed. 
• Performs any related duties as required or assigned.

A Weld Inspector is responsible for overseeing all the welds and to ensure everything is in proper working manner. A welding inspector's job is to make sure that the welders’ work meets or exceed Eagle Crusher weld standards, track and inform supervisors of non-conformances in a timely and efficient manner, and help coach and teach weld shop team members where necessary.
