Burn Table Operator

Sets up and operates CNC Burn Table machine to cut or perform other machining operations in the manufacture of parts for heavy machinery. Determines operation sequence, selects and adjusts machine to perform proper cutting/burning of plate.
Duties and responsibilities
- Read prints and check for errors.
- Positions work piece onto table or into fixture with jib or overhead crane.
- Coordinates proper programming with CNC controls, making changes, or recommendations for changes as needed.
- Layout and burn/cut metal
- Identify and number material for fabrication, as well as material to be sent out for further machining.

Hydraulic/Electrical Specialist

Eagle Crusher is looking for a dedicated Hydraulic/Electrical Specialist to join a growing company. Great benefits, 401k on date of hire and Medical, Dental and Vision benefits on the first of the month after hire.
- Install hydraulic components including, hydraulic pump, cylinders, valves, relief, hoses and other associated parts
- Build hose assemblies.
- Must be able to trouble shoot, fix and document any problems that arise from the hydraulic and electrical installation of any component.
- Perform start-up of hydraulic systems. Set reliefs and flows using pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Install 12-volt wiring to PLC’s, valves, and batteries.
- Install and connect 120-volt and 460-volt wiring on portable units.
- Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment
- Install power supply wiring on newly built machines and equipment, such as conveyors engines, 460v electric control panels, and electric motors up to 500HP.
- Connects power supply wires to motors and equipment on machines following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints
- Diagnoses malfunctioning items such as motors and panel box components using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires
- Make sure all of this is done in accordance to current prints, specifications and the specifications of the manufacturers’ components. If any discrepancies exist, it is the Hydraulic/Electrical Specialist’s responsibility to report them to the Assembly Supervisor or the Supervisors representative.

Utility Operator

The Utility Operator supports manufacturing operations by performing a wide range of material handling, parts cleaning, and general shop duties. This role ensures parts are put away, work areas stay clean and organized. The Utility Operator is a flexible, hands-on team member who assists wherever they are needed to maintain smooth operations.
Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
Stage materials for upcoming jobs according to production schedules.
Load and unload trucks (may include forklift or pallet jack operation).
Maintain accurate inventory counts and update logs or systems as required. Production Support

Welder

Cuts and joins metals in the manufacturing of heavy equipment, such as crusher components and conveyors. Is capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.
Duties and responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
- Plan and perform the welding process that best fits the job you are assigned, including fabrications, weldments, machine parts, and tools of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Perform necessary laying out, cutting, bending, forming and assembly operations using fixtures and positioners in preparation for welding.
- Select proper welding rod and tips; select and set current and amperage, and gas pressure according to type of material and individual job requirements. Manipulate electrode or torch to lay a smooth, even bead, obtain proper penetration and fusion, avoid burning or distortion, especially the sections or dissimilar metals. Visually inspect work and clean welds on completion of operation.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure.

Set-Up Welder

- Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.

- Travel from 40% to 60% of the time, during the week and weekends, to customer sites to troubleshoot, install, and repair products.
- Read electrical schematics and work from blueprints, bills of material, and other information to determine repair parts and services required.
- Give direction and training to equipment operators and maintenance personnel in areas of safety, equipment start-up and operation, and maintenance.
- Responsible for all hand tools and equipment needed on a daily basis.
- Ability to electronically and verbally communicate over the phone with customers to troubleshoot any problems.
- Submit service and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Obtain knowledge of being a professional driver and meet ELD’s responsibilities and requirements.

Design Engineer

- Check detail drawings for assemblies for others and self as required.
- Create or modify assembly and piece detail drawings utilizing AutoCAD and/or INVENTOR for in-house and outside steel fabrication resulting in complete, accurate, consistent, timely and efficient production and sales drawings.
- Communicate with other departments and vendors regarding timing and availability of items.
- Resolve problems and answer questions of other departments concerning drawings.
- Take field trips to job sites to make field measurements and/or observe.
- Travel (on short notice at times) with sales personnel to customers' and vendors' facilities.
