Eagle Crusher Company Updates – November 2019
Fall Walking Challenge
Leading into November, the Eagle Crusher human resources department sponsored a four-week fall walking challenge to encourage our team members to prioritize walking every day. They were provided pedometers to track their steps and received prizes for sharing their daily steps, meeting a daily 10,000-step goal, and sharing motivation with other participants.
By the end of the walking challenge, Eagle Crusher had over 40 active participants walking regularly and sharing their steps! Several prizes were awarded over the course of the program, including a Fitbit Charge 3, a kettlebell set, a sports bicycle, and many other health-conscious items. Eagle Crusher is proud to work alongside our team members who prioritize their daily well-being in order to lead healthy lives.
Service Training School
The Eagle Crusher service department hosted its November edition of our service training school for customers. This month we welcomed Jacksonville-based United Brothers Development demolition and concrete recycling division to our Galion headquarters for a 3-day seminar with topics ranging from plant receiving and startup to impactor operation and maintenance—and much more.
Eagle Crusher’s service training school is a periodical multi-day seminar presented by our service department team for customers who are seeking to learn best-use practices for operating and maintaining Eagle Crusher portable plants and equipment. If you are an Eagle Crusher customer who is interesting in attending a service training school event, please contact our service department.
Veterans Day Recognition
This Veterans Day, Eagle Crusher honored our team members who have made the sacrifice to serve in the military with personalized gifts. Each of the veterans on our team received a gift bag containing a commemorative coin and stainless-steel drink container as a small token of our gratitude for their service to our country.
In addition, we sat down with the veterans working at Eagle Crusher to speak with them about their experiences serving in the military. A common thread emerged from our conversations, highlighting the fostered traits that many of them now share: discipline, respect, accountability, comradery, and an appreciation for the privileges of our country.
OAIMA Annual Meeting & Trade Show
The Eagle Crusher sales team exhibited our comprehensive line of crushing equipment and services at this year’s OAIMA Annual Meeting & Trade Show, hosted at the Hilton Columbus in Easton on November 14 – 15. Over the course of the two-day event, our team members were pleased to meet and speak with members of the Ohio aggregate industry.
Eagle Crusher will also be exhibiting at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2020 early next year at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 10 – 14. Located at booth C31045, Team Eagle will be debuting an exciting series of equipment and technology innovations to the crushing market.
WAGE Tour Program
Last week, Eagle Crusher hosted students from Bucyrus city schools in support of the Crawford Partnership’s WAGE Tour program. Our team was pleased to tour these curious students through our manufacturing facility to generate awareness and interest in local career paths—like right here with Team Eagle!
WAGE tours are presented through a collaboration between the Crawford Partnership, the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Galion-Crestline Chamber of Commerce to provide a platform for local students to experience different career sectors in Crawford County.
